Are Bose speakers hooked up to another brand's receiver a good setup?
I know about the flaming Bose is getting in the audiphile world, but heres a question....
It is worth it to get a bose speaker system(acoustimass) and hook it to say an onkyo? I mean, how would the sound performance differ between using the Lifestyle receivers and Onkyos? Yes, the Lifestyles are calibrated so that they work with the speakers, but getting an onkyo may prove to sound better. Plus, you're saving 1250+.
Ideas, thoughts? Anyone have this setup already.
By the way, I think I've seen this setup in their outlet stores.
For the price you will pay for the bose speakers you can get far superior speakers alsewhere.
