What is the power consumption of a Lenovo 90W 20V power adapter with no laptop attached?

I work in an office where most people leave their laptop power adapter plugged into the mains 24x7. They're all attached to port replicators (simple docking stations) all the time and I wonder how much power they're wasting.

Just guessing but if the adapter has a light and it is on or even without a light, if the adapter is warm or hot to the touch after being on for a few minutes, I would think that the power consumption would be about the same with or without the Laptop plugged in. The adapter is after all a step down transformer that changes the input current to a lower voltage. The current is being converted anytime the adapter is plugged in regardless of wither the recipient device is attached or not.
