Would a car audio system sound good without subs and with a amp only?

I don't big speakers in my car and I want good sound. I'm not looking to show off, more to listen to my music in good quality sound.

If you don't want to have a large box with subs in your car you still can have an amplifier to power your inside speakers. New component speakers or coaxial speakers are probably what your looking for. There are some new sub woofers for sale that are called slim subs, some of these come with an amplifier encased in the box making a complete package that doesn't take up to much room, doesn't draw to much attention to you, and still lets you enjoy your music with just the right amount of bass.
