i am fascinated with what Archie Johnson (actor is Archie Kao) does for the TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. additionally, what is the degree one would need to get into that specific audio/video analyst field?
His title is A/V Specialist. I don't know if you need a degree but training in audio/visual equipment is necessary. Even if you did get the training, there is very little chance that you would actually get to work for a crime lab. And real life crime labs are not glamorous at all, nor do they solve crimes in an hour. Most take months or years, and some are never solved due to lack of funding, thus job shortages and outdated equipment at best.
