Please help configure my entertainment system?
I have a tv, vcr, dvd, xbox, xbox360, surround sound system, and wireless headset, and extended basic cable (COAX).
To connect everything together, I have:
- 4-way Distribution applifier
(1 input port, 4 ouput ports)
- 4-way audio/video selector
(4 input ports, 1 output port)
I want to be able to record from my TV, so I assume I have to run my COAX into my VCR. Am I right? Please tell me how I should configure my entertainment system ... inputs go where? outputs go where?

Ok.. lets see..
I'll use the format OUT >> IN
DVD, Xbox, Xbox360 >> 4way selector
Cable, 4way selector >> VCR
VCR >> (audio) 4way amp, (video) TV
4way amp >> Sound System, Headset
This will let you record everything on the VCR.. If you have Component inputs on the TV though I would connect the Xbox 360 and the DVD player directly to the TV with those as they give a better video signal..
(I'm going to think this over a bit more and check back too so post more information if you want..)
If you connect the DVD and Xbox 360 to the TV with component you need to still connect their audio into your 4way selector.. otherwise it won't end up getting to the sound system..
