Is mid-back length hair too long for a 26-year-old?
I cut my hair above my shoulders last Feb, and have been growing it out since. It's about an inch past my shoulders now, and I plan on growing it to mid-back length. However, I know it's almost customary in our society to cut our hair once we reach a certain age. I don't look good in short styles, but how long is too long? I'm always told I look younger than my age, and am short (5'2) and slim and don't want my hair to overpower me. It already has some light layering in it but I don't want to add more as I like having flexibility with updos.
Mid back sounds very good...perhaps between where your bra clasp is and the small of your back. As for the age thing...I understand traditions and such, but individuality and happiness is very important too...
