Would a Dell Inspiron 1521 battery fit in a Dell Inspiron 1545?

I currently have a Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop. Unfortunately it is very poorly made and falling apart. I have ordered a new laptop- the Dell Inspiron 1545. I was just wondering if I could use the battery from my current laptop in my new laptop? I think it'd just be very convenient to have on-hand when I'm not able to use a charger
