Why does my car overhead on surface streets, but not on the highway?
Though it runs hot, it never overhears on the highway. However, stop-and-go traffic on surface streets make it over-heat. Any suggestions?
Check the relay for the radiator cooling fan. At highway speeds the flow of air is much greater than in traffic. A non-working fan will cause those symptoms.
