Where can I buy a good portable car humidifier?
I suffer from sinus problems and allergies and absolutely hate indoor forced air for what it does to my throat and nasal passages, yet love it for the immediate warmth. I tried using a car deodorant bottle that clips onto the vent by filling it with water, but it was ineffective (not enough humidity). Got any suggestions?
Answer 1 - good suggestion, but I'm not a whiz at creating a new outlet for an adapter on a gizmo that didn't initially come with one. However, I have the good fortune to have an offer by a CSR at an auto parts counter who is concocting something.
Answer 2 - Good point. I've also thought of that and will have to purchase a defogger agent (like Rain-X) to wipe onto the windshield (inside) to prevent condensation build-up.
You can convert any small humidifier with an adapter and plug it in the cigarette lighter.
