Is it true that cassette tapes are now obsolete?
I have some cassette tapes at home that I was thinking of getting rid of either by giving them away or selling them, but my husband said there's no point, people don't use cassette tapes anymore and I might as well just throw them out.
Please advise.
Yeah yea... I know was CDs are and I have like 100s of them. But I am asking, do people still use cassette tapes? Because although people don't use records any more, I know some people still collect them, though technology has advances so much over the years.
Vinyl has actually been making quite a comeback, the difference being that it does not degrade like tape does. Don't expect to get much if you try to sell them. Donating them to a local community center or a seniors' residence would be very worthwhile and likely greatly appreciated.
