From Newton's 2nd Law of Motion, F = ma = 0
since it is in equilibrium
and since the angle made by the cables are congruent we can suggest that it is 45 degrees
The tension for both the rope is the same
T1 = mgcos(45)
= 9.8m/s^2(21.0kg) cos(45)
T2 = 9.8 m/s^2 (21.0kg) cos(45)
