On 2004 I got my car repossesed.?
Oh October of 2004 I Got my X-terra Repossesed, I had not job and I was two months behind the payments, I usually paid 650 monthly for this car, so now they want me to pay the payoff after they sold my car, the payoff is 11,500.00 Belive, I do not want to pay any cent, however it is affecting my credit to by a house. Friends told me, even if I pay that debt, it will affect me, so I do not see why I have to pay for something I have not in my hands, I truly belive Nissan Motor Corporation are stealing my money as I had a lot. They wanted me to pay that in full two years ago. Now it is in a collection bureau. A friend of mine who is attorney is helping me, but even though I need to pay them. Is anything I can do again them to get my credit ok? I have not debts in Credit Cards or other things.
It's true. When I got my first vehicle I was approved for 12%apr and was more than happy with my car. Soon I was late on one of my payment and my APR jumped 23%!!!. The company ripped me off and eventually I let the car go back after the engine cracked. Don't worry about your credit though, It's only a number, and you need to not get stressed over it. Do what I do, buy it in cash!
