How do I watch media stored on my USB Stick on my LG Blu-Ray Player?
My blu-ray player has the capability of plugging in a USB stick to watch media. I formatted the drive for fat then registered with divx and put it on the stick, but nothing shows up on the stick when I plug it in.
Music. Movies. and photos are faded out.
Do I need to create and place them in specific folders? And what would those folders names be?
You should have mentioned the model that you have.
USB Flash Drive which requires additional program installation when you have connected it to a computer, is not supported on the player. The USB Flash Drive option in the HOME menu is not selectable if the unit is in VCR mode. If you use a USB extension cable or USB HUB, the USB Flash Drive may not be recognized. Some USB Flash Drives may not work with this unit at all.
You can also try formatting the USB drive from [OTHERS] menu, Initialize->BD Storage Clear to make sure that the drive is at all recognized by the player.
Using the USB Flash Drive

Insert an USB Flash Drive.
Press HOME on the Remote Control.
Select [MUSIC] or [PHOTO] option.
Select [USB] then press ENTER.
Press RETURN (O) to exit the MUSIC or PHOTO List menu before extracting the USB Flash Drive.
