What is the best SSD hard drive for video editing?
I have a extremely fast computer, but the only problem is that I have a really bad hard drive.
I use my computer for editing videos in Adobe Premiere CS4. I have noticed that it get's slow and freezes when I multitask with it.
I did some research and the best SSD drives to get are OCZ Vertex and Intel X-25 M
I was wondering if anyone knows which is worth the money?
Solid state drives are not the best choice for video editing. The wear leveling firmware spreads the files around evenly. Defragmenting will shorten the life of the drive.
More ram would speed up editing, as would a firewire 800 HD.

Protools has recommendations for external drives that work with their music software. Those would work well with Adobe, too.
