Can I run a dual screen with my laptop open?
My laptop screen is badly messed up, and my boyfriend gave me a regular desktop monitor to hook into it. It worked fine for a week or so, but now the monitor will only work when the lid to my laptop is closed. Obviously, I can't get any work done if I can't use my keyboard. How do I fix this?
Right-click on your destop. Go to properties>Settings.
You have to change settings there.
If all else fails continue with you current set-up and buy a cheap keyboard and mouse to hook up to your laptop.
