Why Sound is out of sequence when i create a dvd movie or IPOD?

Why is it that when i create an Avi movie to dvd or IPOD format, that some video plays with the sound out of sequence to the movie? I`ve upgraded my Video Card from a 128mb to a 256mb DDR Nvidea standard PCI slot type. My pc has windows XP, 1gb ram.

I just can`t put my finger on what the problem is, note though, its only a few video files that does this.

Please someone help.

You need to change your editing software. The problem is caused by error on timeline within video coding. Changing your video card would do nothing. At the moment, I can't recommend any one programme, but you need to seperate the audio and video to align correctly. In university, we used Final Cut Pro.
