should i purchase a 1998 Lexus ES 300 in excellent cond. for 4700 has148,000 miles on it?
i really like this car , i am also interested in the toyota camry , b/c lexus is just a name its really toyota but I have noticed that the ES 300 and the Camry receive good consumer ratings and are mechanic friendly , do you think it is worth it with such high miles........if i really attempt to buy this vehicle i would have Lexus dealer check the car out.........
If ya like it & she seems solid, get'er. Ask for maintenance reciepts.Tell'em you were told that complete maintenance (includes trans. mntnc ) will cost $650 ! Use that & offer him $4000 & you two can settle at $4150.Since the mileage is high, when you get it do ALL maintenance.
