Why did my Zune delete all of the music on itself after basic reset?
My 80 gig Zune deleted all the songs, videos, pictures, and even games on it after I performed a basic reset when it froze in the middle of a song. It was playing on an Altec Lansing inMotion iM414 Portable Audio System when it suddenly froze. I took it off the audio system and performed the basic "Hold down the Back button and Up" troubleshooting technique to get it to reset. However, when it turned back on, everything was deleted. I plugged it back into the computer to reload the songs on it; however, the software did not recognize the songs were missing and did not re-sync my Zune. It has yet to run out of battery life.
Do you know what I might have done? Is there anyway to fix it? Has this happened to anyone else?
