How do i increase the wattage of my xplod amp?????
I have a 1000watt JBL sub and about a 250watt sony xplod amp, is there anyway of increasing the power of the amp without buying a new one? I brought it second hand so i dont mind taking it apart… Its just that the sub isnt kicking much out, it was all professionally installed by halfords and the bloke told me before he put it in that the amp werent going to be powerful enuff. So is there a fuse or sumin i can take out to increase watts or sumin.

Jeff is ritght. and Sony amps are known for frying if you try to abuse them. if i were you i’d get a more high quality amp from Kenwood Excelon. heres a link where you can find tons of good amps for cheap.
