Why won't Myspace karaoke read my mic anymore?

I have recorded songs on Myspace karaoke about a year ago using this computer and this mic, and they worked fine. Now, when I try to record a song, I just get hissing feedback with no vocals. When I try to record on Red karaoke, it works fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Right-click the karaoke screen and click settings and click on the microphone to see if the recording is fine or if not fix it.
