I hate my my roommate though he is a nice guy and I don't know why, what should I do?
like 6 months ago I got a new roommate although I knew we couldn't make it, but I seriously need someone to share cost with, anyway I knew this guy for years and he is nice one to spend time with but horrible to share flat. I'm not being dick but he's lifestyle used to be so disturbing and now it sort of changed and he can be tolerated now, but that bad history is still stick in my mind and I kinda really hate him, well this is being dick and I'm sick of it, but I really need help to find out a way to like him a little bit and make life easier for myself and his.
Even though your verbal response indicate nothing is wrong, it is easy to project what you feel inwardly through body language and mood. I'm sure you have experienced this yourself, as most of us can sense when a person dislikes us even if they have never said it. You say that you kind of like him, so try to build on those feelings. At home spend time socializing with him, watch or discuss the news, talk about what is new in your life.
You can't get rid of your feelings of resentment for him unless you let go of the past. You say he has changed, respect that he has and move on. Good Luck.
