Micro Bill System - has anyone ever managed to remove these bills from their sytem and then not had to pay?

I had to run a system restore on my laptop to stop my screen freezing and since then the bill hasn't appeared and no one has contacted me for paymet. (a website was subrcribed to in error by my son whilst I was on holiday.)

Is it Micro Billing Systems (MBS) that is attempting to bill you?

MBS has been reported to be a scam and it seems to be a UK only type thing. Here in the US, we have a similar type scam called Moviepass

It is said to be spyware installed without your consent on your computer.
