Why won't my after market car stereo play in my mini van?

I just bought a Kenwood deck for my Nissan Quest (which is actually made by Ford) and I have no audio..... Has anyone ever delt with this problem and maybe have a solution?

check to make sure all the connections in the wiring harness have been spliced in successfully. then check to see if the fuse in the head unit is blown. then check to make sure you have all the wires in the aftermarket harness connected to the correct wires in the factory harness.
