My playstation 3 doesnt have audio with my sony multi channel av reciever!!! help me?
ok i have a ps3 and im trying to hook it up with my sony reciever. when i have audio i have no video and visa-versa. idk what to do i checked all the settinging and cables everything is fine.
plz give me ideas on what to do
When I used AV cables with my sony theatre system, I had to use an optical cable too because one cable was used for video and the other for audio. Before trying an optical cable make sure you have resetted the PS3 so that it can detect the new audio and video settings. You can reset it by holding the power button, while it is off, in front for 10 secs until it beeps. Now that I have a HDTV, I have to use 2 HDMIs and an optical cable. Maybe that is your problem, if not call sony support.
