How much would a near mint condition issue of 'The Night Gwen Stacy Died?' be nowadays?
I really, really, really, really, really want this issue, but on amazon I saw where someone had it on sell for +300.00. I know it's one of the most popular comic book issues in the history of comic book but is it really worth that much? Where is some place I could buy one that cheaper, but still near mint condition?
That's the title of a story-arc and not just a single issue. I imagine you're meaning Amazing Spider-man #121.
From the little looking I can do online it seems that $300 is about the going rate for that condition.(NM) So I say either saver yer pennies or look for one in lesser condition.
In my opinion the BEST resource to determine realistic comicbook values is Overstreet's Comic Book Price Guide. The newest edition(40th Annual) is out now and looking it up in there is your best hope at figuring an accurate and fair price.
Wish I had some links for ya or a more definintive answer ,but I don't see anything online that I think looks trustworthy. Overstreet doesn't offer their listings free online,so just go to the library,book store,or comic shop as those places have/sell them and you'll likely be able to look it up yourself.
