What software can I download to make my own karaoke tracks?
I have a Macintosh and I already have Audacity.

it has 90 plugins for audacity. install it. open the mp3 in audacity, select the track, click>effects>scroll down to karaoke. drop the volume of the vocals. the quieter you make them, the worse the quality of the song though. find a nice compromise.
edit: i just saw you have a mac. not sure if macs can do exe installers. let me look for another work around
edit 2: ok i cant find the plugins for the mac. you can always just import the stereo track and invert one channel then make both channels mono. that probably sounds confusing so here's a video on how to do just that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqXiKYG3J7M
