How can I recover password for a WD My passport essential hardrive?
I can't remember the password, I have tried all possible passwords and nothing
I really don't want to lose my data, is there a way to recover or reset the password?
I tried the pc inspector software and it doesn't let me do anything with the hardrive ; oh and how do I reset the password I think that is the only way to go
Nope. Resetting the password means losing all the data on the drive. They warn you of that when you set up a password.
