i just bought to infinity speakers they are 1200 watts a piece, and I was going to purchase a 1000 watt amp is?
I just bought 2 12in infinity speakers that are 1200watts a piece, and I was going to buy a 1000 amp is this enough to make my car shake, I have a 92 camry. Thank you
1200 rms watts a peice? or max a peice?

so im going to assume.. your subs are each 1200 watts maximum a peice, which means their probably about 600 watts rms. how many channels is your amp? 1? 2? 3? 4? 5? im going to once again, assume.. say its a 1 channel amp.. it will give out 500 rms watts to a single 4 ohm load and the full 1000 rms watts to a single 2 ohm load. so what you want to do is wire your two subwoofers into a single 2 ohm load and connect them to the amp, youll be getting 500rms watts to each sub, which is PERFECT for those subs. you always want to match the RMS watts that the sub can handle and the RMS watts that the amp can give out.. just a tip
but if you wire those subs into a single 2 ohm load they will each get 500 rms watts from the amp which will be good
