What is the best mp3 player/ipod for a younger child?
my daughters birthday is coming up soon. She really wants a personal CD player but I figure it to be cheaper in the long run with newer technology. I don't have any idea what would be the best product for her. She takes care of her things and I guess the price I am looking for is CHEAP $70 or less. I have looked at many different ones but don't know where to begin. Also is there a website where I can pay a membership and get unlimited downloads for an MP3/ipod? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The Creative Zen Nano Plus. It's $50/$70 at Circuit City for one that holds 125/250 songs.
It's small, comes in different colors, and is pretty simple to use. I has a screen unlike the Shuffle, you can listen to the radio, and it also has voice recording.
For your second question, there's a thing called subscription services. You pay $6-15 a month and get unlimited downloads. The downside is as soon as you cancel, you lose all the music you downloaded.

$10 a month = 40 songs a month (about 25 cents a song)
$15 a month = 65 songs a month (about 23 cents a song)
$20 a month = 90 songs a month (about 22 cents a song)
That's a better deal than 99 cents a song on Connect and iTunes.
