portable air conditioning window exhaust for casement windows?
This year, I tried to get my AC fixed and found out some complications. I have five years left on my furnace and am better off buying everything from scratch instead of mixing new technology with older, mid nineties technology. I also refuse to replace a working furnace.
This is a one-bedroom condo. My best 5-year solution is to buy a portable air conditioner. I will need to create a Plexiglas window screen with two exhaust hoses to let warm air out while still keeping the room sealed.
I read that consumers are creating these on their own because window kits are only for double hung or sliding windows.
Has anyone created such a contraption before? My question is, what is the best way to do this? Also, does anyone know what kind of business person I could possibly hire to make one?

Our local hardware store cuts the plexiglass. You can also try any glass replacement company locally.. Even check the company that does Windshields for the car. They replaced the Mirror in an antique bedroom set. Called them out of desperation and they did a great job
