Boombox type player that allows one to burn a cd from the cassette playing?
Would like to buy a boombox that allows one to play a cassette. While the cassette is playing it is being recorded on the CD player that is built in.
Is there such a player/recorder?

No, there are stand-alone CD recorders, but by far the best way to do this conversion is using a PC - that way you get to edit the tracks, 'clean' up the tape hiss and add track markers in the right places.

It won't cost you anything if you have a PC with a CD writer, a tape player and a simple cable.
