Sony Home Theater System MHC-LX10000 power wont stay on?

I turned my stereo off 5 days ago and when I went to turn it back on today it only stays on for about 3 seconds and cuts off. Then the power button flashes rad and green and you cant turn it on
MHC-LX 100000 Mini Hi-Fi Component System will not stay on. Contacted tech support no help. restarted several times. reset also.

Check your speaker wires. Make sure none of the + wires are touching - wires or the outer case
