Plugging 3ohm speakers to the rear channel of my 8ohm surround sound receiver?

I have an 8ohm 100 wpc Sony surround sound receiver. My front two channels (left/right) are plugged into some pinacle speakers (8ohm @ 120 watts).. i have some some samsung 3ohm speakers that i was thinking of using for rear channel... is this going to cause any problems? also, is there any way to just run front left/right and rear without center?

Bad idea. Your receiver will not like it and it may damage your receiver. Just get some readily available 8 Ohm speakers and you will be better off.
