Speaker cable to speaker cable connections, how to?
Hi, my home cinema system shipped with cables that are too short for the room its going into. How does one connect speaker cable to speaker cable to make an extended length? Is it bad to just strip, twist and use electricians tape? Does that destroy the sound quality? Or do I need to get some special connector gadget?
Just buy longer cables. As for speaker cables, get 14 gauge and you will be fine. This is the best way.
