I am pretty sure they are. Don't buy stuff like this from china ever. However some U.S sellers buy them at dirt cheap prices from china and sell it in the U.S. You can even get fakes from amazon.com if you don't order direct because amazon is kinda like ebay. I called monster they have a list of authorized sellers on ebay such as best buy outlet, cow boom , deal tree etc.. I did get a real pair from ebay but that was the regular turbines that were 200.00 but can be found for about 100.00. I like them and the copper and the gold are not twice as good so I would get the regular turbine from someone authorized on ebay if you want a deal. If your looking for bass the golds are not what you should get. the gold and copper have more clarity and accuracy but most people don't really want that for most of todays music.
