how much will the sound change if i fit my front speakers on a wall bracket sideways?
because of the shape of my room, i need to fit my front mission bookshelf speakers sideways in the top corners of my room - the other three are already fitted on brackets on the back wall (but standing up as normal) I need to fit my front speakers sideways because one has to fit over a door, and I wonder if the sound will change a lot ?
there should not be any change in the sound quality but check the shape of the tweeter on the speaker. Some speakers have a horn tweeter which throws the sound horizontally at 120 degrees., if you mount it sideways, it will throw the sound vertically. Other parts of the room might have low sounds but the high pitched sounds like cymbals and voice might not be as crisp. If the tweeter is dome shaped or square, you shouldnt have a problem..
