sub box is 5.5" depth, sub is 6" depth, what can i do?
Ok so i got a subwoofer upfire box for underneath my back seat. now the specs on the box is that it has a 5.5" depth fro a subwoofer. Now i found some amazing 2400 peak power acoustic subs but they are 6" in depth. IS THERE A WAY I COULD PUT THEM IN? even if there a .5" bigger. Now i was on bestbuy.com and they had some subwoofer spacers. Could this help? i dont know what they are for?.......What can i do?

As the sub has clearance on both sides when it is mounted, you'll be fine with the spacer. You don't want the magnet touching the box. Or the surround or cone touching the bottom of the seat.
