what would be the best way to wire a 4 ohm kicker cvx to a 1200 watt xplod 2 channel amp. only 1 subwoofer?

have a box that is perfect for the sub. just woundering how the dvc should be wired to the 1200 watt 2 channel xplod amp. the sub is 600 watts rms.

either wire the voice coils in series for a 8 ohms mono load or wire the voice coils to the amplifier in stereo. either way it is the same amount of power.
