Subwoofer Speaker
I hooked up a subwoofer/amp using speaker level inputs. I get good bass from cds but not from radio, ideas?
I know the subwoofer is working when the radio is on because i can feel air being moved, it's just barely audible though. Any help?
FM broadcasts cannot carry as much frequency as a CD playing in your head unit. AKA the radio signals you are recieving from the radio station don't have as many low (bass) frequencies. Some stations adjust thier sound boards to try and combat this. But for the most part, you are out of luck. But who knows....the guy above me COULD be right...but even if he is, you still won't get the same bass out of the FM as you will a CD.
