How is the quality of the Super Audio playback on PlayStation 3?

I was told that PlayStation3 converts DSD to a DTS format, which isn't as good? Can you really hear a difference?

i think the ps3 audio is really good. its more clear and more louder. when you watch dvds or blurays you can also hear the difference. ALso if you have hdmi wire(the sound is better, more digitilize or something)
