Transportation to the Charles De Gaulle in Paris at night?
I have flight that leaves at 7:30 AM at CDG, my friend who i am staying with in paris says there is no way to get to the airport this early in the morning, without taking a super expensive taxi.
Any ideas? He says the taxi ride will be about $75
please dont give me links to the public transportation websites, i am aware of those, i need to know if there is something running at 3 am!
According to the RATP website you should be able to catch the RER B to CDG. The first train leaves Gare du Nord at 4:56 and gets to CDG by 5:30ish. So as long as you can get to the gar du nord station by that time you should be fine. And a taxi ride there will definitely be cheaper than a ride to the airport.
If you're still not sure you can always stop by any metro window and just double check that you would be able to catch it at that time to the airport. If you don't speak french and still want the reassurance, ask your friend to ask for you, or have him check the site.
