Surrround Sound keeps cutting out.?
my surround sound has been shutting off during movies when they reach a loud scene.this has never happend before,until i moved and only hooked up 3 (and the sub)of the 6 speakers.any ideas why this might be happening?
Your system is being pushed too hard and going into a safety shut down mode to prevent your amp from burning out. It is possible the move might have affected it. If there was a short in the wires it would most likely shut down immediately. You can try unplugging the receiver and holding the power button to drain the power let it sit for a bit then try it again. Also check your setting to see if they match how you have it hooked up it could not be liking that there are only 3 speakers hooked up because its looking for 6.
