How to drive in a two-way narrow street?
Hi,
I'm a new driver and I have a problem driving in a two-way narrow street. I feel like I'm gonna hit the cars that are coming the other way.
The problem is that I can't see the tips of the car (I mean the hood of the car) even if I sat higher because the hood is kinda curved.
How do I control the car so I won't hit the coming cars and also not to hit the cars that are parking on either sides of the street.

One thing to always be aware of while driving is looking at where you want the car to go. If you spend too much time looking at the hazards on either side, you are not watching where you want the car to go. There are a few tips you can use.
First - be aware of where the middle of the car is. The middle is in the center of the console within a few inches of where you sit. Draw an imaginary line from the center of the hood to the center of the console.
Second - most roads are darker in the center of the lane due to oil and grease deposited on the road over time. Keep your car centered on that dark oil strip. That should be the center of your lane.
Third - This can most easily be practiced in an empty parking lot. Instead of looking at either side of your car for the parking space marker or the obstructions on either side, watch the center of the space and drive your car toward it. Before turning into the parking space, look at the center of the space and start to steer toward it. As you turn into the space, turn your head and keep your eyes on the center of the space. Don't worry about the sides. You will find with just a little bit of practice that your car will be perfectly centered in the space. Once you are parked, you can get out and see how closely to the center you are parked.
Once you have practiced this procedure, use the same procedure to always keep your car in the center of your lane when you are on the road. You will quickly find that you won't have to worry about the obstructions on either side as long as you watch where you want to go and steer toward that point.
