How do you book a flight online for two people when one person going one way and the other a round trip?
Me and my friend want to travel together to Australia im staying for a gap year out,and my friend's wants to go for 3 or 4 weeks.Everytime we try to book online it doesn't give you the option its one or the other,we could try a travel agents but it will cost more for their services.My friend could book 2 single flights but this would cost lots more,is there a way round this thanks!
This depends on the airline you are flying with, and what their policies are. In most cases, you book directly on the airline's website -- round trip ticket for your friend and one-way for you. Then immediately call the airline and ask them to seat you together. Make sure you have both locator or reference codes that identify the two reservations before you call. Better not to wait till airport check-in, as seats together may not be available if the flight is heavily booked.
