How do i get Fix or get my Western Digital Hard drive working "Not Initialized & Unallocated"?

How do i get Fix or get my Western Digital Hard drive working? Every time i plug it in it just "Clicks clicks" like it cant go it just studder. i need to get the important Information off of it, but my computer wont recognize it it says its "Not Initialized & Unallocated" when i go to . Can someone tell me how to get the information off this External Hard drive its important.
