how to hook up a whole house humidifier to the existing furnace?
I have a furnace and I want to hook up this whole house humidifier to the furnace so that it's automatic.
You do not want the drum type….. they are awful
You want to find the kind that uses the pad…. as pictured in the link
They are available at home center stores and work fairly well.
You will need to cut into the plenum which is sheet metal, tap into a water supply, and do some basic electrical.
